Operation Believe

How We Help

Operation Believe provides less fortunate children and their families with toys, gifts, and food for the holidays.  The program also provides gifts and food to elderly and disabled individuals.  In 2010, CCYR served more than 1,200 people. 

The majority of clients are families lead by single mothers, families with foster children, grandparents raising their grandchildren, and senior citizens hoping to be remembered during the holiday season.  The program provides each child (under 18 and still in school) with a gift bag of new and gently used toys and a Christmas stocking filled with goodies.

The holidays can be very stressful on families trying to make it day-to day.  With gas and food prices going up, it is almost impossible for our clients to save. Operation Believe helps relieve the burden of the holiday season. We believe in Christmas, now they can too!

Accepting 2011 Operation Believe Applications from September 12th to October 27th; Monday – Thursday, 12:30 pm – 3:00 pm.

Last Minute Date: Saturday, November 5th from 8:00 am – Noon.

Applicants Must Bring All of the Following:

Proof of Income, Utility Bill, Rent Receipt, and Social Security Cards (or old Medicaid card) for everyone in the household.
