Lace up your sneakers. It's time to run!
Christmas Charities had such a great response to our first School House Run,
that we've decided to do it again.

In 2007, CCYR partnered with the William Hooper Councill Alumni
Association to not only promote health, but for the community to see the plans
for the renovation of old Councill High School - the only public high school for
African Americans in Huntsville from 1867-1966. Scores of runners from all
across the Tennessee Valley came out, as well as volunteers and supporters
of both agencies.

This year, we are running the same route with the same great mission.
Race day is September 13. Registration is $15 in advance - $20 the day of
the race. We will gather for the run at Councill High School at 620 St. Clair
Avenue (next to the main Huntsville library). The race begins at 8 a.m. The
fun run begins at 9 a.m.

We look forward to seeing you! All fitness levels are welcomed.
